As a Company based at the heart of the Inverness Business Community, Anderson Shaw & Gilbert takes its social responsibilities seriously.  The Company is a corporate sponsor of Eden Court Theatre, the Highland and Islands' leading Arts venue which has recently undergone a multi-million pound redevelopment.

The Company sponsors the Inverness Junior Open held each year at Inverness Golf Club to help nurture and encourage young golfers and we also support Inverness Swimming Club by providing sponsorship and clothing so helping to support some very promising young swimmers in the North.

Anderson Shaw & Gilbert’s staff have every year raised money for Children’s Children First and the Highland Hospice by undertaking fundraising events in the office and by recycling projects.

Highland Hospice, the Highlands' leading centre for Palliative care, benefited this year from a substantial donation from the Company to support its very worthwhile work.

Fred Kelly one of the Directors of Anderson Shaw & Gilbert received substantial sponsorship from the Company to support him in his Marie Curie Rockies Cycle in which Fred ultimately raised over £4,000 for the Marie Curie Charity.

Congratulations also to Lorna, Tracey and Findlay who recently took part in a sponsored Munro Climb for raising Anderson Shaw & Gilberts name to new heights (literally!) (see picture).

The Company is a supporter of the Inverness Town Centre Bid Scheme and has made a conscious decision to remain within the Town Centre of Inverness which it believes is an important commercial and retail centre for the city.
